Edinger Materials Inc. is a family business, owned and operated by the Cassara Family. Established in 1989 as a vehicle to purchase material for the family's main business, Tailored Masonry of California. The Cassara family has been in the masonry business for over 50 years.

In the late 80's Tailored Masonry of California was installing a lot of Precast Concrete Fireplace Faces. Most of them purchased from CDI in Tucson AZ, but a number came from a small company in Corona called Precast Masonry of America. In 1990, the owner of Precast Masonry of America decided that he did not want to sell fireplace faces so Edinger Materials acquired the molds and agreed to purchase the raw materials from them.

We have put our years of experience in the masonry business into the design and manufacture of our Precast products, and that is what we think puts ahead of our competition.

In the 10 years since Edinger Materials started pouring Gypsum into fiberglass molds there have been many changes. We started with 2 employees in a small corner of Tailored Masonry's shop and manufactured products mainly for Tailored Masonry. Today we have over 25 employees, produce over 500 different Precast Concrete Products, and Tailored Masonry now accounts for approximately 5% of sales. Edinger Materials mold shop is able to create custom pieces to accommodate customer's needs. We can pour concrete in almost any color and offer many different textures. What began as a convenience has grown into a full time business with an excellent reputation in the construction community. Edinger Materials has evolved from just manufacturing Gypsum Fireplace Faces to a company with a full line of Precast Concrete Products including Columns, Balusters, Window and Door Trim, Pot Shelves, and of course Fireplace Faces.

Edinger Materials' long list of job credits include twice supplying product for the Orange County Philharmonic Showcase House, Custom Home Builders and tract homebuilders all over California, and columns for Marco's South Side Grill in Maui. Edinger Materials has even supplied Precast Fireplace Faces to Gnahl Lumber for shipment to Russia as part of a complete home package. Our customers range from the do-it-yourself homeowner to some of the largest builders in Southern California. Our products are available in our Showroom in Santa Ana, CA. or through our dealer network.
